Yay, I’ve actually made two cards today! 🙂 This card is made for Addicted to Stamps and More #454 Any occasion, Cards Colours & Sketches #521 (sketch below my card) and 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, Christmas Mice. I designed these mice for Reprint Hobby over 15 years ago. And, no, I rarely use my own stamp designs. Don’t ask why because I don’t know. I’ve designed stamps for three different companies, and of those designs text/sentiment stamps are the only ones I use.
It’s the end of September, and fall is here. Or at least it’s supposed to be. We still have summer temperatures here in Stockholm.
I’ve made a fall greetings card inspired by challenges from Retro Rubber Challenge (the leaves on my cards are my own design for Slöjd-Detaljer, probably almost ten years old, and the sentiment is even older than that), Time Out and TGIF Challenges.
I’ve used an old designer paper with Christmas trees, I don’t remember which brand. The sentiment, which is Swedish for “Warm Christmas Greetings”, is from a set of clear stamps by Slöjd-Detaljer.
For today’s card I used narrow washi tapes in various colors, and a few pearls. Grattis stamp is from Slöjd-Detaljer. A few years old and not available anymore. We have other clear stamps though. 😀
This is the first time I participate in a challenge at Festive Friday. The challenge was to include at least three things from the inspo list. I think I manage to include quite some – black, white, rhinestones, camera and squares. 😀
Dang, I’m so NOT happy with how this card turned out, but I’ll post it anyway. I made it for three challenges (links below image). Not sure if it counts as clean & simple as I used designer papers, but a minimum of decorations though. I had a hard time getting the green to show up in the photo, it is a bit more soft in IRL, not that bright. 50 is from a set by YouDo, at least 11 years ago as we sold their things at my previous workplace that closed 11 years ago. The Grattis sentiment is probably a few years old too, and the papers I have no idea.
One more birthday card made. Inspired by the colors of The Paper Players challenge #648 and the sketch of Retro Rubber Challenge #210. The butterfly is from Verve Stamps, which unfortunately closed in 2018. The Grattis stamp is from Slöjd-Detaljer, although it’s not available anymore. We do have other stamp sets though. 😀
Inspired by a few challenges (see list below image) I put together this birthday card last night. The Grattis stamp is from Slöjd-Detaljer. Not available anymore, but we have several other clear stamps sets. Butterfly is from Verve Stamps, a store that unfortunately closed five years ago. I loved their stamps.
With this blog being brand new, I haven’t got any links or other info up yet. It will be added soon.
Anyway, for the first time in ages, I’ve made a card for a few blog challenges (see list below image). The mouse with cheese tree is a stamp I designed for Reprint Hobby somewhere between 15-20 years ago. I’ve hardly used it. I made several stamps images for them, but fact is I hardly ever use my own designs in my cardmaking. God Jul is Swedish for Merry Christmas, a stamp from one of the clear stamps set I designed for Skapa Hobby over 10 years ago.
It’s been quite some time since I had a blog. I mostly hang out on Facebook, plus sharing images and getting inspiration on Instagram. However, I missed blogging. And I want to be able to post my contributions tog blog challenges. So here we go! 🙂
